| Admission Process |
We had the admission rules and regulations according to the SAMARTH Portal of Uttarakhand Government and Soban Singh Jeena University Almora, Uttarakhand.
Admission for B.A. semester-I shall be given on the basis of marks obtained in the senior secondary with application submission on the SAMARTH Portal
Application for admission, complete in all respects, should accompany the following:
1- Original Character Certificate from the Principal of the Institution last attended.
2- Self-attested copies of mark sheets of the examinations passed.
3- Original T.C. from the Institution last attended.
4- Self-attested copy of High School Certificate.
5- Caste Certificates, if applicable.
6- The candidates will have to be compulsorily present before the admission committee with their original certificates and it will not be possible to grand admission in case a candidate remains absent.
7- The candidates whose admission is sanctioned will have to deposit the prescribed fee within the prescribed period on the Bank. Failure to do so will lead to automatic cancellation of the admission and the next candidate in merit will be given admission.
After Complete the Admission Process:
1- Time table will be pasted on the notice board immediately after the last date of admission and teaching shall commence accordingly.
2- It is compulsory for each student to carry an identity card. Entry to the college campus without an identity card is prohibited.
3- To prevent misuse of the identity card, the arrangement has been made that in case of loss of the identity card, the student concerned will submit an application with affidavit to the Proctorial Board to this effect. The Proctorial Board will make a detailed inquiry and issue a second copy of the identity card after Rs 30 has been deposited. If a student is caught with a forged identity card, the college administration will initiate disciplinary and legal action against the student.
4- Change of faculty and subjects will be allowed conditionally.

Note :
- The admission of a student can be cancelled at any time during the session, in case it is detected that he/she has given incorrect information or concealed certain facts.
- Admission will be granted on the basis of Rules & Regulations set by Soban Singh Jeena University Almora and the Government of Uttarakhand Higher Education Department.
- In addition to the above 10% of seats are reserved for EWS.
