The Exam Department of Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya Amori (Champawat), affiliated with SSJ University Almora, plays a crucial role in the academic structure of the institution. It handles several key responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Exam Department:
Conduct of Examinations:
- Organizing semester and annual exams for students across all seven disciplines (Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Political Science, Education, History, and Economics).
- Coordinating with SSJ University for setting up examination schedules and processing exam-related documents.
Form Filling & Registration:
- Ensuring smooth processing of exam forms for students and guiding them through the registration process.
- Keeping track of student eligibility and attendance for appearing in exams.
Result Declaration:
- Coordinating with SSJ University Almora for timely evaluation and declaration of results.
- Maintaining transparency and accuracy in result publication.
Internal Assessments:
- Managing internal assessments as per university guidelines, including assignments, presentations, and mid-term evaluations.
Grievance Redressal:
- Addressing any issues or concerns regarding exam results, evaluation, or any discrepancies students may face.
Records Maintenance:
- Keeping a systematic record of student performance and exam history.
EXAM CELL OBJECTIVES
- To carry out regular mode examinations efficiently.
- Schedule the regular and improvement Exams.
- Publish and circulate information about the declare Results of University.
- Provide a proper mechanism to handle the internal grievances.

EXAM TIME MANAGEMENT
- All the invigilators should enter in the exam hall 10 minutes before the commencement of the examination and students should enter the exam hall 15 minutes before the commencement of examination.
- All the internal examinations and all the Back/ Improvement examination will held according to University time schedule.
