Women’s Empowerment Cell

Vision:
To empower the college’s female students to realize their full potential and to compete for equal opportunities in building successful careers.

Mission:
☞ To uplift girls socially and intellectually, this cell organizes various awareness camps on topics such as health, legal information, entrepreneurship, self-defense, technology, etc., equipping them with the right knowledge for equality, empowerment, personal growth, and professional success.
☞ Empower them to raise their voices against gender discrimination/ injustice/violence.
☞ Spread social awareness through street plays, marathons, and other activities.
☞ Provide a platform for girls and women to share their experiences and thoughts about their position in society and suggest ways to improve and empower themselves.
☞ Motivate to take steps towards positive action to protect nature and environment.

☞ Impart ethical value, positive self-esteem and confidence in the young women so that they can take the decision.

Objectives:
➡️ To organize events and activities for women empowerment and to create an environment to realize their full potential.
➡️ To conduct workshops and awareness programmes with a motive to train girls about self-defenses, health benefits and skill development.
To empower the status of women through education, raising awareness, literacy and training.
➡️To empower women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems in society.
➡️ To create social awareness about the problems of women particularly regarding gender discrimination.
➡️ To develop the self-confidence of Women.
➡️ To guide about Women Welfare Laws.
➡️ To directs Women’s role in the society.
➡️ To develop multidisciplinary approach for the overall personality development.

ACTIVITIES
➡️ To promote Indian and Uttarakhand state culture of respect and equality for female gender.
➡️ To organize various awareness programs on gender sensitization.
➡️ To Arrange various type of seminars for creation awareness on the economic, social, political, and legal rights of women.
➡️ Organizing various type of activities to make college girls students aware of their health, sports, self-defense etc.,
➡️ Conducting various competitions to encourage their artistic talents.
➡️ Highlighting the importance of spirituality, health, hygiene and safety.
➡️ Women’s Day celebration.
Efforts are being made by the Government of India and the Uttarakhand State Government, as well as politicians and social activists in this direction. Similarly, the Women’s Empowerment Cell established at Rajkiya Mahavidyalaya Amori (Champawat) is also regularly working towards betterment in this direction.

Pledge taken by the Cell:
“In the name of my mother, I take this oath
I will always treat all women with respect and dignity.
I will never physically or mentally abuse any woman.
I will remain committed to the elimination of violence against women.”

03 माह कम्प्यूटर प्रशिक्षण डिप्लोमा कोर्स-बेटी बचाओं बेटी पढ़ाओं अभियान के तहत

महाविद्यालय के समस्त अध्ययनरत छात्राओं को सूचित किया जाता है कि महाविद्यालय में महिला सशक्तिकरण के तहत छात्राओं को 03 माह का कम्प्यूटर प्रशिक्षण डिप्लोमा प्रोग्राम प्रारम्भ होने जा रहा है। जिसके तहत पंजीकृत छात्राओं को तीन माह तक कम्प्यूटर कोर्स (सीसीसी तथा कम्प्यूटर आफिसियल वर्क आदि) का हैण्ड्स आन ट्रेनिंग दिया जायेगा। (जो जनपद चम्पावत महिला सशक्तिकरण व बाल विकास विभाग द्वारा छात्राओं के लिए प्रारम्भ किया जा रहा है, यह कोर्स पूर्णतः निःशुल्क होगा) पंजीकृत व 03 माह का सफलतापूर्वक प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करने वाली छात्राओं को कम्प्यूटर कोर्स का प्रमाणपत्र दिया जायेगा। जो छात्राओं के कैरियर में अत्यन्त लाभदायक होगा।
